SATYAM FRAUD AND GOVERNMENT

Indian citizens are sure that the investigation into this Rs.7000 crore fraud by army of agencies will continue for 10-15 years and then judiciary will take at least 15-20 years to punish the real guilty. Thus the culprits need not worry for next 25-30 years, if at all caught and brought to books. If some high ranking and influential politicians are interested in this episode, then nothing will happen to any one. Only drama will go on to fool the citizens at public expense. Big fraudsters make their risk assessment before committing such crimes. Thanks to out-dated, corrupt and slow Indian system of governance, nothing bothers the wrong-doers. It on the contrary encourages such people. Our democracy may motivate Mr. Raju to contest election and be hon’ble M.P. some day in future.

There is eye catching similarity in working of Satyam and the Government Depts from village panchayats to central government. In case of Satyam, the ground realities do not match with what is stated on paper. Difference is reportedly only Rs.7000 crores so far. In majority of expenditure by governments, if cross checked truthfully, the ground realities would be totally different than what is shown on government records and advertised. If one calculates from 1947, a fraud of 100000 “Satyams” will surface. It is all SATYAMEV JAYATE in India. Satyam has defrauded or fooled few thousands while governments are fooling and politicians and babus are defrauding 120 crore Indians, in the name of poverty alleviation.

Perhaps Raju & Co would have replicated 62 year old and time tested modus operandi of our government working. Fir bhi Mera Bharat Mahan Hai.
